ABOUT THE SPEAKERS 

Hanshini Boolaky : Medical Director & Occupational Therapist

Hanshini is a qualified Occupational Therapist from the University of Mauritius. She worked in various settings in Mauritius and UAE, including special needs schools, rehabilitation centers, and community settings. Her experience over the past years includes Early Intervention Therapy, Sensory Strategies, Special Educational Needs Intervention, Prevocational and Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Counseling and Group Therapy Techniques. Hanshini has also experienced working within a Conductive Education Model of Therapy & Education. Furthermore, she is currently pursuing her Post Graduate Studies and Research in Sensory Integration. Hanshini is fluent in English and French.

 

Ira Naeem : Clinical Psychologist

Ira Naeem completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from G.C University, Pakistan. She has vast experience in research and has many national and international publications to her credit. She specializes in children with various challenges, offering psychological help by using a combination of play therapy, ABA therapy, behavioral therapy, social skills training, cognitive behavioral therapy, group therapy, rational Emotive Behavior therapy (REBT) and Twelve Step programs.

 

Suha Al Khamayseh :  Speech and LanguagePathologist

Suha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Faculty of Medical Rehabilitation at The University of Jordan. With over 10 years experience, Suha has work in a number of settings including schools, nurseries and clinics. She has worked extensively with toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults.
