This course is an introduction to principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis on how to teach skills including language and social skills to children in the home and at school. The training also includes how to use behavior management techniques and strategies at home and at school.

This training program is based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List and is designed to meet the 40- hour training requirement for the RBT credential. This program is offered independent of the BACB.
The Registered Behavior TechnicianTM (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA, or FL-CBA. This course fulfils the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) training requirements needed for the RBT credential. This course is provided by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The course follows the RBT task list given by BACB.
Upon completion of the Applied Behavior Analysis for Practitioners training, students will receive a certificate of completion to share with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Competency assessment will be provided upon successful completion of the course. Upon completion of the course, the applicants should undergo a criminal background check, pass the competency assessment and pass the RBT exam in order to obtain the RBT credential.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of high-school diploma or equivalent.
