Down Syndrome International along with many charity organizations works to raise awareness and support internationally for individuals with Down syndrome. The aim is raising awaresness of what its like to have Down syndrome, and the role those with Down Syndrome can play in our communities.

The date of 21st of March is a unique reference to triplication of the 21st chromosome causing Down syndrome.
