Mental Health Awareness - Free Workshop

Attend workshops by Clinical Psychologist Ira Naeem at Pakistan Association library on 12 May 2018, 3pm to 5pm

• Describe what is meant by the terms mental illness and mental health.
• Identify the most common mental health diagnosis
• Recognize some of the symptoms of the most common mental illnesses
• List the risk factors that may contribute to the development of a mental health problem.
• Discuss recovery for those experiencing mental illness
• Challenge some of the stereotypes and stigma associated with the term mental illness
• Identify ways of looking after your own mental wellbeing.

ABA foundation training

ABA Foundation Training Course

This course is an introduction to principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis on how to teach skills including language and social skills to children in the home and at school. The training also includes how to use behavior management techniques and strategies at home and at school.

Topics covered:
Introduction to ABA
Basic principles of learning
Teaching language and social skills to children with disabilities
Instructional strategies
Behavior management strategies

RBT Training Course - KHDA Approved - Daily 9AM to 4PM

Course Description
• This course fulfils the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) training requirements needed for the RBT credential. 
• This course is provided by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). 
• The course follows the RBT task list given by BACB. 
• 40 hours of direct instruction.
• Competency assessment will be provided upon successful completion of the course.
